So, I’m participating in Camp NaNo, for those that didn’t know.
Side note: NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, takes place in November. But, to encourage more writers and to have some fun, the people behind NaNo started up a camp version. What is NaNo? Write a 50,000 word novel in the length of 1 month. So, I have 30 days.
Back on track:
I’ve written just over 15,000 words in 10 days, which is awesome. I’ve never been this dead on with my word count (I needed to break 15,000 yesterday, which I did). I’m not having the easiest time with this story, because I’m not used to humor/satire and I honestly think the majority of it is rather boring, but it’s going along I guess. I’m not sure if I’m going to show it to anyone unless it starts getting better, but that’s okay. Doesn’t have to go anywhere.
