It’s crunch time, folks.
I need some more short story ideas so I can finish with 50k.
I have one more to finish, and one more to write, but then that’s all I have.
HELP HELP HELP
SEND ME A SHORT LITTLE PROMPT HERE
So I’ve gone rebel for the last few days of NaNo. I have 11,917 words that I have to write.
Give me short story ideas. I have one more to finish, and one more to write, but I don’t know if I’ll get through 12k with just 2 stories (the first short story of my rebel journey was just shy of 3k, so…)
GIVE ME YOUR IDEAS :D Reply here, send to my ask, or however else you want to get to me.
Whenever I look at or read bits of my school shooting story, I realize just how much I *still* miss that world and those characters. I guess that’s why I’ve rewritten it a million times…
So happy I got the title as part of my newest tattoo.

I just realized how close I am to killing off a character in the rewrite. :/ The second time writing through this (or third? I don’t remember anymore), I really got to like this character even more. But, well, can’t change it now. The death is pretty important to the rest of the story.

Tumblr… why are you so slow…
I need these gifs to distract me from writing because I’m at a loss for words right now.
Alright, fine, I’ll go write. FINE. I SEE HOW IT IS.
“Hi berlin my phone sank to the bottom of lake washington. Just now got a temp phone activated.”
“my god this phone is so old school”
Well, I guess that’s a great reason to not text back.
WORKIN’ AT FIVE AWW YEAAAHHH.
GOT MYSELF ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF TO WRITE.
Oh wait. No. I don’t want to do that. Because I can’t THINK OF ANYTHING TO WRITE.
Post with 1 note
I’m working on 2 different stories at the same time and editing and third story.
So many words.
“Instead of just go home, where Dawn would still be crying over some fictional characters to her friends online, they decided to go back to Gabe’s.”
That moment when you accidentally make a side-character a Tumblr user…
So, I’m participating in Camp NaNo, for those that didn’t know.
Side note: NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, takes place in November. But, to encourage more writers and to have some fun, the people behind NaNo started up a camp version. What is NaNo? Write a 50,000 word novel in the length of 1 month. So, I have 30 days.
Back on track:
I’ve written just over 15,000 words in 10 days, which is awesome. I’ve never been this dead on with my word count (I needed to break 15,000 yesterday, which I did). I’m not having the easiest time with this story, because I’m not used to humor/satire and I honestly think the majority of it is rather boring, but it’s going along I guess. I’m not sure if I’m going to show it to anyone unless it starts getting better, but that’s okay. Doesn’t have to go anywhere.
I’ve almost caught up to my original word count! At last update, I was a bit over 3,000 behind that word count after I chopped out a huge section. But, my edit is at 32,874 words and the original (up to this point) is 33,854! So, JUST under 1,000 words!
So happy with that.
And the rewrite is going along… fairly well. About as well as it could, I suppose. I haven’t added too much as far as different sections goes (a bit, here and there, to introduce a character just a little more) but mostly I’m just editing spelling errors and whatnot.
And learning, again, just how terrible Microsoft Word is with grammar…
